Getting traffic is really important, but one thing that I have learned over the years of running a website is that Google doesn’t just start to give you their organic traffic for nothing. You really need to prove to Google that you are worthy of their traffic. Getting a big social media following is very important. 
You could get even more specific by narrowing it down to customer base. Is there a specific group of clients you tend to serve? Not to mention it will also attract way more targeted, organic traffic than a broad key phrase like “SEO agency.”
